It's All Proclaiming Who You Are

Last night a group of my best friends went down to the ocean cliffs to watch the meteor shower.

It was my favorite night at Point Loma so far.

In a brilliant display of God's beauty and power we watched meteors streak across the sky. As I laid down on blankets with my friends, listening to music, I began to think how small I really am. That night, it was as if God was creating a masterpiece just for us. The vastness of our galaxy and the sky above were spread out above us and as God created this spectacular show, I thanked Him for creating such a complex world. With each meteor we saw, we screamed various ooohs and awwss and wows! Our reactions were the same each and every time. And as I was looking up at the night sky, I had the thought that God screams ooohs and awwss and wows when He sees us striving and running after Him. God's beauty is all around us and I am thankful I experienced it last night at the perfect moment in time with the perfect group of pals.
